Massachusetts Notary Solutions for Middlesex & Greater Boston Areas
Airport and Hotel Policy
Middlesex Notary Co provides mobile notary services to hotels, airports, and travel locations across Massachusetts. To ensure safety, compliance, and proper identification procedures, the following rules apply to all airport and hotel appointments. These rules protect the client, the notary, and the integrity of the notarial act.
Middlesex Notary Co reserves the right to decline any signing if identification is not valid, if the signer is not present, or if the environment is not suitable for a lawful notarial act.
Airport Appointments
Airport notarizations involve strict procedures because of security, time limits, and access rules. The signer must meet all requirements below:
The signer must be physically present at the designated public area of the airport.
The notary cannot enter secured or restricted TSA areas.
The signer must present valid identification outside of TSA security.
Appointments must be scheduled in advance with accurate terminal and location details.
If airport parking, delays, or security rules affect arrival time, additional fees may apply.
The notary may decline service if the signer is rushed, distracted, or unable to complete the signing calmly and willingly.
Middlesex Notary Co is not responsible for missed flights, travel delays, or any expenses related to airport schedules. The notary’s only duty is to perform a lawful notarial act under Massachusetts law.
Hotel Appointments
Hotel notarizations must follow similar safety and verification rules.
The signer must be physically present in a quiet and suitable location such as the lobby, business center, or private hotel room.
Only the signer and required witnesses may be present during the signing.
The signer must present valid identification at the start of the appointment.
The notary may refuse service if the signer appears unaware, unwilling, impaired, or unable to sign.
Hotel front desk staff are not witnesses and cannot be asked to participate.
If the hotel has specific visitor rules, the signer must notify the notary before the appointment.
Middlesex Notary Co is not responsible for hotel guest policies, visitor access restrictions, or staff refusal to allow guest entry.
Travel, Parking, and Access
Clients are responsible for any parking fees, hotel access requirements, or airport entry costs.
If the notary is delayed due to parking complications, hotel security checks, or airport traffic, the appointment time may extend and additional fees may apply.
If incorrect location details cause delays or a missed appointment, the travel fee is still due.
Safety and Compliance
The notary retains the right to end the appointment immediately if:
The environment is unsafe
The signer is not present
The signer does not have proper identification
Witnesses required for the document are not available
The signer is impaired, pressured, or unable to communicate willingly
Massachusetts law requires voluntary, clear, and aware signing. These conditions must be met at all airport and hotel appointments.
No Legal Advice
Middlesex Notary Co does not provide legal advice, document interpretation, or recommendations on how to complete or structure documents. Clients must contact an attorney for legal questions.
Liability Limitation
Middlesex Notary Co is not responsible for:
Missed flights
Travel disruptions
Hotel visitor restrictions
Late check out issues
Delays caused by traffic or parking
Document errors not related to the notarial act
Documents that are later rejected by another agency
The notary’s responsibility is limited to performing the notarial act required by Massachusetts law.
